I planned on going to Matthew's game this morning and then going to Krista's going away party this afternoon. But, I ended up sitting at the vet's office for three hours. Big Guy really wasn't looking well last night so took him to the vet this morning. He is spending the night at the hospital. I did go to Krista's party and got to Central for the last two innings of the second game. They had a double header and Central won both of them.

Matthew went the junior prom at Central last night. His aunt Renee was very nice and came to LaCrosse so that he could take her car to the prom. I guess 'nice' cars are very important for proms. Everybody went to Mormon Coulee Park first so that pictures could be taken. After that I went to Hungry Peddler to eat with the girls. Krista went with us, too. Krista will be moving to San Diego in a couple weeks to be with her husband.

The ballgame was at the Omni Center in Onalaska today. I noticed Matthew still had his sore finger protected, but he did play. I'm hoping that they won another game. The score was 5 - 0 when I left. There were some changes made and some new players came in and Matthew went out. So, I decided to leave early. It was not a nice day for baseball. It was windy and quite cool...in the 50's. Three days ago we broke a record with a high temp of 89.

Kristie and I went to Copeland Park yesterday to watch Matthew's baseball team. I thought I would get some good pictures because I don't have a fence to compete with there. But, during warmups Matthew dislocated a finger and had to go to walk-in clinic. The team won. They are undefeated as of right now. I think that is 6 games that they have won.

Renee, Kristie and I went to a Sugarland concert last night. We thought it was at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. So, we stayed at a Best Western which was only about a mile away. We took a cab to the Center and it didn't look like anything was going on there. We found out that there was no concert scheduled there. We weren't even in the right city. It was in Minneapolis at the Target Center. So, then we had to cab it again. It cost us about $50. for cabs to cover our mistake.
We did get there right on time for the opening performer, which was Billy Currington, and saw him for the first time. Sugarland again put on a great show. We have seen them a few times. We generally go see Sugarland anytime they are fairly close....like within a two or three hour drive. Most of my pictures turned out pretty dark, but here are pictures taken at this show.

Baseball season has started here. Central played a double header today and won both games. It wasn't really terrific weather for baseball but not too bad.

We had to go to a funeral today. Grandpa Schwaegerl died March 17th at 101 years old. This picture was taken last year on his 100th birthday.

I went to the Crystal Grand in Lake Delton with Renee and Kristie to see Phil Vassar. Opening for Phil was Gloriana. We had never heard of them before, but found out they are really good. Pics of Gloriana and Phil here.
